Blast Cabinets
Blast cabinets are operated from the exterior. During blasting, spent blast media is recovered by an efficient reclaiming system and recycled. Dust, fine particles and debris are carefully separated from reusable blast media.

Blast Cabinets are available in various sizes with internal working dimensions from 920 mm to 1500 mm.
The viewing window is slightly angled for operator convenience.
Blasting is initiated and stopped by means of a foot-operated valve.
Pressure-fed or suction-fed?
Blast cabinets are suitable for all kinds of blast media and are available in suction-fed and pressure-fed versions:
- In the pressure-fed version blast media stored in the pressure vessel is metered into the air stream and directed at high velocity (up to supersonic velocity) at the workpiece through a specially designed nozzle.
- In the suction-fed version the blast media is drawn to the nozzle by a venturi generated within a special gun assembly.
Which kind of blast media?
Basically, all types of blast media are suitable for our blast cabinets which are reclaimable: aluminium oxide, glass beads, ceramic beads or metallic blast media. Expendable blast media such as slags are not suitable.

The cabinets are available with a variety of optional equipment such as turntables, tumble baskets, multi-axis nozzle manipulators, runways with trolleys etc.:
