Automated Turntable and Pass-Trough Machines

These machines differ with regard to the workpiece loading and unloading positions:

- Indexing turntable machine with 8 blasting stations
Workpieces are generally processed on an indexing turntable. Lifting doors prevent the escape of abrasive and dust.
Additional strip brushes are fitted when continuous blasting is required.
Automated turntable machines
These automated machines are used for small, series-produced components.

- Satellites with bath tab fittings
Rotational speed of satellites as well as vertical and horizontal movements of nozzles are fully adjustable.
The turntable may be indexed in steps with 1, 2 or 4 pieces ea.

- Turntable cabinet with single station
In the basic version automated turntable machines comprise a single blasting station.
The workpiece is loaded manually and processed by one or several nozzles.
Automated pass-through machines
These machines are used for medium-sized workpieces and where two different loading and unloading positions are required.

- Indexing pass-through machine with 8 blast nozzles
Automated pass-through machines offer the same workpiece and nozzle manipulation options as automated turntable machines.
A conveyor belt transports workpieces.

- Vertically oscillating blast nozzles
Because of their shape many workpieces cannot be fully covered by the blast nozzle’s stream.
In such cases satellites and multi-axis manipulators are used to rotate the workpiece and move the nozzle.

- Continuous pass-through machine for edge cleaning of sections
In the shipbuilding industry the blasting technology is used to remove primer from the edges of sections and large panels prior to welding.
Sections are processed in pass-through machines. For large panels Problast closed-circuit machines are fitted to the cutting gantry.
